Terms of use
Short version: the workbook is free and yours to use, booking a call commits you to nothing, and any actual work together is covered by a separate signed agreement.

Who we are
This site is operated by 1489366 Alberta Inc., operating as JM Digital ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.
What this site is
A monthly newsletter, the free Tournament Sponsorship Workbook, and a description of one service we offer to tournament organisers. It is published to be useful and to introduce that work. It is not advice for your specific event.
The workbook
The workbook is free. Download it, print it, fill it in, and use it to run your own event or organisation, including commercially. That is what it is for.
What you may not do is republish it as your own, sell it, or pass it off as your work. It remains ours. If you want to share it, link to it rather than sending the file, so the person you send it to gets the current version.
Answers you type into the workbook are saved in your own copy of the file and never reach us, so keeping that copy safe is on you. See the privacy page.
Booking a call
The booking form sends us a request, not a confirmed appointment. We confirm the actual time by email, and if the slot you picked has gone we will offer you the closest one we have. The call is free, and it puts you under no obligation to buy anything.
Please give us accurate details about your event. The whole value of the call is that the answer you get is about your situation rather than a general one.
Nothing here is an offer
The service page describes how we work and what events like yours have typically seen. Those descriptions, including any commission split, fee, waived cost or example figure, are there to explain the shape of the work. They are not an offer, and nothing on this site forms a contract between us.
If we do work together, the terms will be set out in a separate written agreement that both of us sign. Where that agreement and this site disagree, the agreement governs.
Results are not guaranteed
Any figures on this site are examples drawn from past work. Tournaments differ by sport, size, region, timing and a dozen things outside anyone's control, so we cannot and do not promise you a particular amount raised, a particular number of teams, or any other outcome.
Keeping it accurate
We try to keep the site correct and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. We may change or remove any part of it at any time.
Links to other sites
Some pages link elsewhere, including to sportsevent.zone. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not run, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Liability
The site and the workbook are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of them, including any decision you make about your event based on something you read here. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and using the site after that means you accept the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Anything here unclear? Email support@sportsevent.zone and a person will answer.
