Privacy
Two forms on this site collect information, and two small cookies remember which of our links brought you. This page says exactly what we collect, who handles it, and how to get it deleted.

Who we are
This site is operated by 1489366 Alberta Inc., operating as JM Digital ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@sportsevent.zone about anything on this page.
What we collect
There are two places you can give us information, and both are optional.
The newsletter form
Your email address. Along with it we record which page you signed up from, the page that referred you, the country our host reports for your connection, and the date and time.
The call booking form
Your first name, email address, and phone number if you choose to give one. Then what you tell us about your event: its name, the sport, roughly how many teams you expect, when it runs, whether it is already on sportsevent.zone, and what you want the work to achieve. Also the date, time and time zone you asked for, and whether you ticked the box asking for the newsletter. As above, we record the page you came from, any campaign parameters in the link, the referring page, the country, and the date and time.
That is everything. There is no account to create, no other form, and nothing is collected in the background while you read.
What we do not do
- No analytics or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no tracking script of any kind on this site.
- No advertising or third-party cookies. Nothing here follows you to other websites. The two small cookies we do set are explained below.
- We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies
We set two small cookies, and only if you arrive through one of our own tracking links: the ones in a video description, in an email we sent you, or in the workbook. All they hold is which link you came through, so we know which video or email brought you here. They expire after 90 days, and we do not share them with anyone.
If you then sign up or book a call, we keep a note of which link brought you alongside what you filled in. That is the whole reason they exist.
Our host, Cloudflare, may also set a security cookie to tell people apart from bots. We cannot read it and it is not used to profile you.
The printable workbook
The Tournament Sponsorship Workbook is a PDF you download. Anything you type into it is saved in your own copy of the file, on your own device, and is never sent to us. We cannot see it. If you delete the file your answers go with it, and a fresh download starts empty.
Who else handles it
Three companies are involved in running this site. Their servers may be outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to the laws there.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the database holding subscriptions and call requests.
- toSend delivers our email. They handle your email address in order to send you the messages you asked for.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the pages use. Loading a page requests those fonts from Google, which means Google can see your IP address. Nothing else is sent to them.
Email we send you
We email you only what you asked for: the newsletter if you signed up, and confirmation of a call if you booked one. Ticking the newsletter box on the booking form is what adds you to the list. Booking a call on its own does not.
Every issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it opens a page with a single button, and pressing that takes you off the list immediately. You never have to ask anyone or give a reason.
The button exists because some email systems open every link in a message to scan it for viruses. Without that step, a scanner could unsubscribe you from something you wanted to keep reading. If your email app shows its own unsubscribe button next to our name, that one works in a single click and skips the page. Or you can just reply and say so, and a person will take you off.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription for as long as you want it. If you unsubscribe we keep a record that you did, precisely so that you are not added back by mistake later. Call requests are kept as ordinary business records of who we spoke to and about what.
If you would rather we did not, see the next section.
Your choices
Write to support@sportsevent.zone and we will:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- or delete it entirely.
We will answer within 30 days. If you ask us to delete everything, we will, with one exception we will always tell you about: if you have unsubscribed, we keep the record of that so we do not email you again by accident.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, this page changes at the same time and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
Questions about any of this? Email support@sportsevent.zone and a person will answer.
